Seafood Festival

Boatloads of seafood lovers feel their taste buds tingling as August draws to a close, as they know the annual Seafood Festival in West Sayville is near.

On Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25 the catches of the days are featured at the festival, held on the grounds of the Long Island Maritime Museum. The fun begins at 11:00 am and concludes at 6:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Purchase admission tickets online or at the festival (cash only).

Attendees will feast on the delicious and plentiful seafood for sale, including raw bars and lobster rolls, along with non-seafood options. Enjoy live musical performances, arts and crafts, children’s rides and activities, and public sails on the museum’s 1888 oyster sloop, Priscilla, a national historic landmark.
