Great South Bay Music Festival

The Great South Bay Music Festival moves and grooves Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. The crowd at this annual event at Shorefront Park in Patchogue will be dancing and singing to bands, singers, and entertainers including Edgar Winter, America, Dweezil Zappa, Joplin’s Pearl Featuring Amber Ferrari, Baked Shrimp, Local Motion, Samurai Pizza Cats, Gnarly Karma, Kate Usher & the Sturdy Souls, Paris Ray, War, and Oogee Wawa.

In addition to the musical performances, there will be a kid zone and a craft village featuring local and imported arts, crafts, jewelry, and clothing. A food court offers delectable festival snacks along with heartier fare.

Visiting boaters

Transient docking is available at Morgan’s Swan River Marina (631-758-3524), Sunset Harbour (631-289-3800), West Bank Marina and Yacht Club (631-804-0595), and Frank M. Weeks Yacht Yard (631-475-1675). Call in advance to reserve a space. The festival is a cab or car service ride away.
