Jones Beach Air Show
The skies fill with aeronautical displays and feats for the enjoyment of boaters (and beachgoers) from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25. Viewing spots include Short Beach, on the western tip of Jones Beach, just east of the inlet in Sloop Channel (near the U.S. Coast Guard station), and Zach’s Bay, on the northern side of Jones Beach State Park, accessible from Sloop Channel, just west of the State Boat Channel. Check the chart and the weather forecast and arrive early, and don’t forget earplugs.
