NY Mets at Citi Field

A boat trip to Citi Field is a grand slam even when the Mets play small ball! There are no traffic hassles delaying your arrival and you’ll never have to leave early to beat that same traffic home.

Flushing Bay is a deepwater harbor easily reachable from Long Island. Traveling from the South Shore, thrill to the Statue of Liberty and the New York City skyline. Landmarks along the North Shore include the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges. As you enter the harbor and pass LaGuardia Airport, Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and Citi Field appear ahead.

The Mets play day and night games at Citi Field. Enjoy fan activities, choose from an array of dining options, and perhaps score a giveaway or a post-game concert (see team site for details).

The gates at the Jackie Robinson and Hodges VIP entrances usually open two hours before game time — if there’s batting practice, try to snag signatures and baseballs until about an hour before the game starts.

Transient space is available at the World’s Fair Marina (call 718-478-0480 or hail the marina via VHF channel 71; reservations are suggested). Construction may limit docking, so always check before arriving.
