Riverhead glows for the holiday season with a festive parade and then a roaring waterfront bonfire on Saturday, December 9.

The fun begins as the Riverhead Lions Club’s Annual Holiday Parade kicks off at 3:00 pm. Marchers end up at the Peconic Riverfront.

At 4:00 pm, celebrants chase away the chill by sipping free hot chocolate around a blazing bonfire. Santa also appears to hear kid’s wishes and spread ho-ho-holiday cheer.
