Beach Cleanups
Volunteers join forces to protect the world’s waterways and creatures during 2021’s International Coastal Cleanup season. Armed with gloves, trash bags, and enthusiasm, these cleanup crews remove trash on the beach before it causes harm to creatures and pollutes our waterways.
It’s easy to participate in a coastal cleanup. We’re listing those cleanups known at press time and providing links to help you find more. In addition, coastal communities and civic groups form beach brigades, so search for one using your zip code or the name of a favorite beach.
