On Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, the Montauk Seafood Festival attracts boatloads of hungry people. A fundraiser for local charities, causes, and scholarships, the festival features the freshest fish prepared by local eateries, tasty specialties of food trucks, and refreshing offerings from wineries and breweries.
All this feasting takes place from noon to 5:00 pm each day at 32 Star Island Road at Gurney’s Montauk Yacht Club. There’s a $2.00 (cash only) entrance fee for those over 12 years old (younger kids are free); food and drink purchases are not included in the admission price.
Along with its palate pleasers, the festival rocks with music from the 3Bs and After Memphis. Family-friendly fun includes henna art, drip painting, tattoos, and an ocean petting zoo.
