Whale Watching Adventure

When you’re boating offshore, there’s always the possibility of an encounter with a whale. However, the odds are against that, and if you do, you’ll need to maintain a lawful and safe distance. When joining a whale watching cruise, you’re guided by a captain who knows where the whales, dolphins, and sea turtles hang out on a vessel designed to keep passengers and creatures safe. Another advantage — your adventure is narrated by a knowledgeable naturalist, marine biologist, or biology professor!

The Viking Fleet and the Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island, Inc. offer five to six-hour family friendly cruises aboard the Viking Starship. Witness the beauty of whales, dolphins, porpoises, and other marine life in the waters near Montauk. Cruises are scheduled through September 28, 2025.
